Welcome to the Koleske Lab Rob!

January 25, 2021

The Koleske Lab kicked off the year 2021 with a special new lab member: Dr. Rob Niescier!

Rob Niescier earned his PhD from the Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology in Ulsan, South Korea, studying the regulation of mitochondrial movement in axons. Following that, he joined the Hussman Institute for Autism in Baltimore, MD to study the role of parvalbumin in parvalbumin positive interneurons. Now, Rob has joined the Koleske lab to study regulation of the actin cytoskeleton in neurons. Outside of lab, his interests include cycling, cooking, and going on hikes with his dog.
