Melissa Carrizales joins our lab from the doctoral program in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry. She earned her B.S. degree at Texas State University in biochemistry. Soon after, she earned her M.S. in Biochemistry also at Texas State University, where she researched the RNA binding protein LARP6. When she’s not in the laboratory, Melissa enjoys hiking and camping with her dog.
